From the Archives: The Safari Shirt

Archive recreations are never easy to master. The results of our love and understanding of the classics seem to meet us where we are in life. Thus, pieces from the past stop time, but the minute you put them on, you can’t help but live and breathe the present day. We believe in our unconditional trust in the past mechanics, but it has to make sense now. This shirt does.

You saw our short- sleeve version last year, but we decided to release the long-sleeve safari shirt first. As a nod to utility while honoring the classics, this is our most feminine variation. Eliminating excess fabric and emphasizing the waist with tasteful back seams that fray from the overtly sexy. It’s how we see the gamine woman meeting our vision of the 90s and 2000s for modern everyday wear. It was ultimately constructed to be worn open or closed, free or tucked.

In the end, we are all style samples of the past. How we choose to renew and restore is what makes a lasting impression on our individuality. As always, we managed to find a way to retain your waistline and freedom. Our inherently lived-in approach continues.

As with all of our tops, this one is made to order with curated materials and committed hands.
